ADULT
ALIAS SEASON
3 arrives with all 22 episodes of 2003-2004
season. If you are an Alias fan, this is for you. I’m one of them and
faithfully taped every episode when I was on the road. Agent Sidney
Bristol (Jennifer Garner) fights for her memory, her job, her life, her
man. In between lots of bad guys, and one very, very woman fall. Deleted
scenes, bloopers and the “how-tos” of make the show zing are included.

KILL BILL, Volume 2
Quentin Tarantino’s follow-up to #1 fills in
a few of the holes left. Still odd, it actually has more of a story, and
closure in it. The Bride (Uma Thurman) is still on her path of revenge,
crossing off names of her personal hit list—the bad guys and gals who she
had worked with—as each one meet their fate. It’s a violent cartoonish
type of flick where every type of kick, hand movement and assault is put
to the test. No nudity, but blood—buckets of it.

KIDS
& FAMILY
HIDALGO
is the true star, plus the fabulous
cinematography. The person star is Lord of the Rings’ Viggo Mortensen as
Cowboy Frank Hopkins. Hidalgo is a painted mustang that challenges the
best of the best—Arabian horses owned by the royal families in the Ocean
of Fire 3,000 mile survival race. Both Hopkins and Hidalgo are tough,
encountering obstacle after obstacle in this endurance spectacular. Of
course, the odds are against them and many go out of their way to sabotage
their quest. Set in 1890, it’s almost surreal to view the riches of
royalty, the beautiful woman who is dressed in the latest fashions and ole
Cowboy Frank interact and push each on. The horses are spectacular and
when you see what this journey encounters, it’s an incredible feat.

POWER
RANGERS DINOTHUNDER – Legacy
of Power Vol 2 and White Thunder 3. It’s been awhile since I watched a
Power Ranger video (my grandson is 17), so it was a kick to see that it’s
the déjà vu of years ago. This time my co-viewers were boys, ranging from
4 to 6. What can I say . . . they loved it. Lots of action, Power rangers
are the good guys, so always win in the end . . . not a bad thing.
Who Should See It?—Power
Ranger fans, little boys love this stuff.
