Dr. Judith Briles
... an author, speaker, entrepreneur,
media expert, mentor, movie-reviewer,
columnist and community/cause
advocate. She is an award-winning and best selling
author of 20 plus books. Her book Woman to Woman was awarded the
Chicago Tribune’s Business Book of the Year 1987; 10 Smart Money
Moves for Women was the Colorado Book of the Year, non-fiction in 2001;
Smart Money Moves for Kids was honored with the gold from the
Colorado Independent Publishers Association as the best in Self-Improvement
and Parenting as well as a Parent’s Choice Award in 2001; and The
Confidence Factor was best business book and over-all non-fiction in
Colorado in 2002. Her most recent, Zapping Conflict in the Health Care
Workplace was the best selling book in the Nurse’s Book Club Society in
2003.

Career Moves column for the Denver Business Journal and is the
Money Expert on Denver's CW2
Morning Show. She
has been published in American Nurse Today, Dimensions in Dentistry, Women Dentists, Ireland
Report on Women on Marketing to Women in Healthcare and a variety of nursing
journals including the associations of AORN, Med-Surg, Oncology Nursing
Society, and the Association of Women Surgeons. Over 500 articles have been
published.
As an entrepreneur, she is President of
The Briles Group, Inc., recently named as one of the Top 100 women’s
businesses in Colorado by COBiz magazine and Top 100 businesses in
Colorado. She also is the co-founder and CEO of Mile High Press, Ltd., a
Colorado based publishing house and is known as The Colorado Book
Shepherd.
In 1974, Judith made her first speech.
She routinely keynotes national and international conferences with an
emphasis in the health care field focusing on conflict resolution, creating
confidence, thriving with change and communicating. Today, she speaks to
approximately 60 groups a year, with audiences ranging from 50 to 5,000.
She’s been featured on over 1000 radio
and TV programs including CNBC, CNN, Fox, Oprah, and Good Morning
America as an expert in a variety of areas—from personal finance to
conflict and sabotage within the workplace.
